A couple, an Israeli citizen and a foreign resident, may apply for recognition of their marriage, to receive an Israeli citizenship.
This is not a simple process, and sometimes it’s a lengthy one. The authorities examine carefully the couple and their relationship. It is advisable to consult a lawyer who specializes in immigration policy, and to be represented by an attorney to obtain legal status.
